 Alhaji Kola Shittu; the present Kwara People's Democratic Party Chairman has stressed the fact on the present hardship facing the generality of the citizenry in Nigeria, hence adduced that the people of the country had known the fact that his party; People's Democratic Party is in the best position to plan and work for the good of their welfare, with which his party has taken as a priority to make sure the betterment and good welfare of the citizens of the country is not compromised upon while in the course of governance.
 The eloquent, reticent and receptive man of honour highlighted on his believe that the members of the highest echelon in PDP regretted leaving the people of the country in the hands of those who are not capable and informed about governance, hence the much present problems facing the country economically and her people as being as a result of the incompetent set of some politicians, who have found their way into the control of the affairs of the country, which he believes PDP is set to come back for its restoration.
 On this; he therefore defended that PDP has prepared fully well without any fear despite some challenges during his party campaign throughout the nooks and corners of Kwara State, but believed that with the level of his party preparedness it is certain that PDP would come victoriously in the most of the election for the different elective offices in Kwara State, but advised the people of Kwara State to be peace abiding, to make sure that the coming election is free, fair and credible, for their choices of leaders to be voted in, for the emergence of a new, credible and capable set of leaders into the rein of governance.
