"We appeal to the Oyo State government for adequate assistance on the provision of standard fuctional equipment and vehicle"- Oyo State Fire Service DeputyDirector; Mr. Adewumi Moshood.

The deputy director Oyo State Fire Service Mr Adewumi Moshood has appealed to the Oyo State Government especially incoming government to give adequate assistance to the Oyo State Fire Service Commission with the provision of the standard but functional equipment and vehicle, for the fire fighting officers in Oyo State to be able to perform well and efficiently, for the good of the citizenry of the state.
He clarified on the state of things as having some vehicles at hand that are not in good condition to work whenever they are on outside operation, here he appealed to the government in Oyo State to stand up to the challenges being faced by the Oyo State Fire Service by giving the commission an adequate functional equipment and vehicle.
However, he refuted the erroneous assumption by some members of the public that Oyo State Fire Service has being of water shortage whenever there is a distress call from the members of the public, on any fire incidence.
Meanwhile, he suggested that to make the Oyo State Fire Service Officers be able to do their work efficiently whenever they are on operation they have to be well equipped and thus reiterated that he wants the government to help increase on the outlets of the fire service within and around the areas in Oyo State, for easy and prompt handling of cases like that of fire incidence, the collapse of building among many incidence of emergency,
Therefore, he commended the officers of Oyo State Fire Service for putting up their best and responding promptly to any distress call, from the members of the public, but advised the members of the public to take interest in being abreast with any information given by the fire service, to make their relationship with them cordial and fruitful for effective but mutual benefit and effective communication
And by and large stressed that government should consider the fire service officers for good welfare package, to motivate them more, for an outstanding and encouraging performance, at their various posts and areas of assignment.

The newly elected member of Oyo State House of Assembly Representing Ibadan South East1; Honourable Abdullahi Ademola Abdulrasaq "Omo-Sheu", who the Newstrack Online cornered at an occasion; had recently affirmed the fact that the incoming government of the Oyo State Governor Elect; Seyi Makinde and his team of his PDP Party honourables, together with their colleagues from other parties,to be in the house, we work well to impact the lives of the Oyo State people, with good governance, to enable them have their due benefit, of the dividend of democracy, when they come on board in June 12th, 2019, when to start their various assignments, as given by their people from their different constituencies to fulfill the essence of democratic governance,
The amiable, pious and soft-spoken honourable reiterated that their major assignment would be how to bridge the gap between the people and their government, especially that of the incoming government of Oyo State Governor Elect; Engineer Seyi Makinde, yet would make sure they work hand in hand with their other colleagues as members in the House of Assembly, to make sure their is no clog in the wheel of the incoming government, here he advised people of the Oyo State, parties' members and the stakeholders in politics of the Oyo State to make sure they work as united team to make Oyo State great again and enable all and sundry enjoy adequately the dividend of democracy, under the incoming government.
The honourable who joined PDP party since 1999 had contributed considerably to the development of his constituency through different means, especially in the area of education,with the establishment of some schools'
He therefore vouched for his members and the incoming government as being bent to fulfilling their various promises for the good of the people of the Oyo State, without discrimination for any group, individuals and section of the society.
However, he commended the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission under the upright Barrister Mutiu Agboke; the Commissioner for Oyo INEC to have done the best commensurately to their capacity, while he appealed to the people of the Oyo State to be patient in their expectation, about the incoming government, but to be assured that a new dawn of hopeful action and excellent achievement is imminently around the corner, through the incoming government of the Governor Elect; Engineer Seyi Makinde, though it would be a team work .

OYO INEC DECLARES GUBERNATORIAL RESULT; PDP SEYI MAKINDE BECOMES OYO STATE GOVERNOR ELECT.

Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission declared the result of the gubernatorial election held on the 9th of March, 2019 among the different parties participated, precisely on the 10th of March, 2019 inside the hall of the Commission within its premises, located along the Secretariat -Agodi Garden Road, after the various presiding officers for the thirty-three local governments had submitted their result sheets, for total calculation and here the People's Democratic Party won with the PDP's gubernatorial Candidate; Engineer Seyi Makinde becoming the Governor Elect of the Oyo State.
However, here underneath Newstrack Online unwinded on the final result, which led to the victory of the PDP's Gubernatorial Candidate; Engineer Seyi Makinde.

SEMIH OLADIMEJI ALAO DECAMPS TO ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS PARTY OYO STATE.

The former Zenith Labour Party Candidate for Ibadan North East /South East Federal Constituency Semiuh Oladimeji Alao decamped to All Progressive Congress Party Oyo State today 6th of March. 2019.
While responding to the crew of Newstrack Online today at his office situated around Bustop Area, Ibadan, Oyo State; he buttressed up the reason as a decision he arrived at after much consultation and consideration with putting God first in his decision making.
He therefore described APC as the party that can take Oyo State to its glorious height, with this he considered the party as a party of the likes-minded people that can achieve anything worthwhile for the Oyo State.
Meanwhile, he further expressed that he aligned with the party despite whatever people may be insinuating as his past experience with those in government and thus agreed to put such things behind him..
Nevertheless, reiterated to say the future of the Oyo State is bright considering the fact that APC Gubernatorial Candidate; Bayo Adelabu is going to take Oyo State to its glorious level.
By and Large, he took the moment to reassured his people of Oyo State especially Ibadan North East/ South East to know that things would work well with APC, hence Oyo State people should wait for him and members of his new party; APC, as things unfolds, while they take Oyo State to a better level,

The meeting held by the alliance of ADC, ADP, ZLP and PDP executive members today; 5th of March, 2019 inside Oyo State Nigerian Union of Journalism Iyanganku, Ibadan was arrived at adopting Engeer Seyi Makinde as their gubernatorial candidate to feature in this coming Saturday; 9th of March, 2019 against all other parties for the election in Oyo State.
At the meeting were different political stalwarts like Osi Olubadan of Ibadanland Senator Rashidi Ladoja, some of these parties gubernatorial candidates like Chief Solagbade Lanlehin, Colonel Ladoye, Engineer Seyi Makinde , Barrister Sarafadeen Alli and the members of the parties executive members, their parties' members and members of the public, who were there to bear witness to the fruitful occasion that took place among the parties' executive members
However, after the meeting was a consensus reached, to adopt Engineer Seyi Makinde as the unanimously endorsed gubernatorial candidate to feature for the parties come this Saturday election against all other political parties' candidates in Oyo State.
Meanwhile, those who talked with us as the credible parties stalwarts and members like Colonel Ladoye, Honourable Emiola, Honourable Odeyale from Ona-Ara emphasized on the fact that the meeting was as a result of the right thinking people in the parties considering the plight of the Oyo State people and ways to free them from the quagmire of hopelessness, on this several consideration, meeting upon meeting was held to fathom only way forward to achieve victory, in order to free Oyo State people from the trap of those in government presently, that have not taken their welfare and good standard of living into consideration by creating an enabling environment, to achieve a better condition of livings for them.
