Alhaji Oyelade Taofeek Tayo, President Gbagi Orisun Aje Marketers Traders Youth Progressive Association(Ogunpa Oyo) has appealed to the government on the three tiers to be considerate in bringing moderacy to the different stages of tax impose on traders, companies, and individuals, to help ease up the economic-hardship on the citizenry.
The enterprising but young businessman who affirmed the importance of the different taxes impose by the government on traders, companies and individuals advised the citizens and business owners to cooperate with the government and see the step taken by the government as justifiable, while the citizens should see the role being played by them as their civic-duty in contributing to the development of their community and aiding the government to actualize their responsibility in the provision of social amenities and objectively directing the affairs of the state.
He therefore enjoined the government to make sure the welfare of the citizens is paramount in their plan and thus this would encourage the citizens to be actively playing their own role in the payment of the taxes.
Meanwhile, he further stressed that the government should lay much emphasis on vocational skills with adequate support given to it , to enhanced the productivity power of the various graduates, who after graduation but without vocational skills have been roaming the street hence, adding to the congestion in the labour market
