AJIA SECONDARY GRAMMAR SCHOOL OLD STUDENTS LANCHES HER FOUNDATION

Ajia Secondary Grammar School Old Students Association launches her foundation at an event held inside K.S Motel Ibadan on Saturday 29th of October, 2016.
  The occasion which bore witness to an investiture/award and the official launching of the association was graced by some awardees like a one time principal of the school; Elder M.O. Oladele , CHIEF Lekan Alabi, Baale Oladiti Olabode, ChiefOguntade Ambrose, Chief Adeyinka Dauda Gbadebo, Chief T.A Akinyele , the members of the association who are both female and male members but old students of the school and some invited guests.
  Lieutenant Colonel Olaniyi Oladimeji Gafaru a member and one of the Nigerian Army who saw the reason behind the launching of the association emphasized on the need for the government at the three tiers to accommodate vocational-studies into the curriculum of the Nigerian education, in order to equipped the students both at the colleges and tertiary institutions with adequate understanding of knowledge, skills and effective behavioural , as it should be educationally, for them to be masters of their lives later in life, in their various activities and chosen fields, to enable them contribute their quota to the development of the nation.
  Meanwhile , to corroborate his piece of the advice the Lieutenant Colonel O.O. Gafaru  who majorly specialized in music for the Nigerian Army exhibited his creativity musically on stage, while his boys (army -men on stand ) rendered a melodious and messageful lyrics, to entertain the audience at the venue of the event.
  However, Engineer Sangotola Taiwo, Barrister Oladepo Kazeem Adebowale who is also a lecturer at the Polythechnic Ibadan stressed the fact that since education is a pivot on which any development could be achieved, for any nation, hence the initiated the launching of the association, through which they want to contribute their best possible educationally, for the upcoming children, both within Ajia township and the nation in general
