"THE PRESS HAVE COMPROMISED; YOU DON'T GIVE RAW INFORMATION AS IT IS"-HONOURABLE OYEKOLA J. GBENGA, REPRESENTING ATIBA CONSTITUENCY IN OYHA.

It is a religious statement that advocates thus " From the mouths of two, three or more people one can establish the root to the truth" and since "It is when one has not gone far into a distant adventure one will disputes the fact of an existence of a hunch-backed squirrel......" our much concern to emphasize in drumming it to the ears of those at the corridor of power to know the state of things with the downtrodden and the citizenry, at this period of recessional hardship and promptly and purposefully encourage them to be pragmatic in the provision of succour and solution whichever way, to cushion the dastard effect and help to alleviate the citizenry's suffering; induced us into going extra-mile, combing and exploring farther into the horizon of our beats, to ascertain and redressing the areas where both the politicians and electorates have gone amiss, to have caused this present effect of agonized suffering and economic hardship, the experience which had caused or led many families and friends parted ways, because of the scarcity of money and sordid state of the economy of the nation.
However, on this note we were also lucky enough to have had an interview with Honourable Joseph Gbenga Oyekola; a member of the Oyo State House Assembly from Atiba Constituency under Labour Party, whose responses to our questions took another turn, when he pointed an accusing finger at the members of the press, that they have been bought over, by some political lords in censoring most of the constructive criticism, comments, opinions and views often made by the members in the opposition and thus frustrating the much effort of those in the opposition, in achieving much, to check, caution and constructively call to order those in the corridor of power, under the party (APC) in the rein of governance.
This we unwind-ed as it went between us and the frank honourable; Gbenga J. Oyekola, who did justice to our various questions posed to him without fear, favour nor bias against anybody, group or party. And since we see it as our responsibility and that the onus lies on us to shed more light on any issue or subject-matter that needs prompt deliberation and urgent attention, this we see to as an adage corroborates that " When a blacksmith hits a piece of metal continually with hammer against his anvil then it means there is an image he wants to wrought out of it". All we want is a true change, to free the commoners from " penal-servitude" and perpetual- suffering".
Meanwhile here we bid you to settle down to the interview, read, digest and deduce your own opinion and view from it yet " opinions are free; facts are sacred " while we want your sincerity of purpose to read between the lines, in concluding on the piece, with freedom accorded to your understanding always, as it should be, without influencing your conscience nor concern, hence we invite you on-board and wishing you a happy voyage.

Your position as an opposition member, your silence thus far and politics as an art-interrupted?

I disagree with you that the opposition had been silent, how do you mean, how will people hear us; the opposition talking when people like you; the press and journalists had compromised.

Could you buttress up your point on that?

You've compromised, now let me give you an instance . I'm an opposition member in the Oyo State House of Assembly, whenever an opposition raised any issue in the 'house' we hardly hear it on the news, whether print or electronic media, you doctor the news, the information, you don't give people raw information as it is , whenever you gather information some people call you and sit you down to tell you have to edit information, doctor information, they pay you for it, you have compromised!

Sir, we are strictly on that but some few ones may be doing that but we don't support it, don't forget there was a bill you advocated at the floor of the 'house' to check the proprietors and proprietresses, on the obnoxious school fees, here you advised them to be considerate and implored the 'house' members to constitute an adhoc committee to work on that, we like you for that because you stood in for the masses yet, we reported this but,we have not heard anything from it?

They will not come up with any report even when they move round, call the meeting, invite the stakeholders, hardly you will see them doing anything to actualize something tangible, because they believe "it is our- government, we should not rubbish our government", which government is their own,, government through democracy is "government of the people for the people by the people", any government policy that does not have human face is nothing, to me is nothing, your policy must consider the masses, must be masses friendly, so anything out of it is nonsense.

Politics as an art, what are the major things politicians suppose to do in the society?

Politics even is a science, it is an art of governance, it is by politics you can get into power, when you are talking about what people needs or expect to get you see , I would want to narrow it down on the leadership, you see people voting for you are giving you their mandate that go and serve, represent them, the ability to represent well would repose that confidence in them, that they have believe in you. Already when you get to power and you are doing as if you are god, some people want to look at you that well! you are coming back even, if they don't have anything to do to remove you or to do anything they will still wait for you, until you finish your tenure then! they will decide, look at American voting system; if they want you it is through their ballot, if they don't want you it is through their ballot.

Sir in what way do you think the electorates have compromised?

The electorates have never compromised, compromised what?! Compromised that they have given you their votes or what type of compromise are you talking about?! we go to them to deceive them, how will they know who and who are better off, not until they put you there they don't know your level of intelligence or performance. What you will do they don't know, they only believe in what you are saying, so you can't tell me the electorates have compromised.

I'm talking about their act of getting money from the politicians and aspirants?

What type of money, what are we giving them, are you talking of the money they give them for votes, can you compare that to the money politicians realized, giving two, three, five thousand on the election day , how will you measure that to the level people  are amassing wealth through politics!

What do you have to say about 'credibility' in politics?

Een ! it is high time we come back to our senses party or no party, party are just symbols, people will now realize we should pursue personalities. Personality is what we should hold in high esteem. I want to advocate to the masses that parties are immaterial, integrity matters, people who are going to serve you, don't bother yourselves about their parties, be concerned about their past deeds, their antecedents, what has he done, which offices has he occupied before, so you should forget about their parties.

PDP and APC have disappointed the electorates except Labour....interrupted!

I don't believe that, please I'm not a sentimental person, I don't believe except Labour, you see I have told you parties are symbols at which people are registering, people should need a platform before they contest and let me tell you sincerely right from 1952 when politics started you discover that people are just changing their identities by moving from one party to another, a lot of people in government today are formerly in PDP today they are in APC, no party is good, parties are the same, it is people in their parties that matter, who are in party A, who are in party B, what are the  antecedents of people in party A and B, you can't find a perfect society, so far there is no perfection in humanity but we will continue to manage ourselves and by the time you discovered that you have some like minds in one party, you study their manifesto, you discovered that you can move along with this thing, then decide! And don't forget you should not loose focus, you need party just as platform to contest, that is just it, no party is okay, unless you try it, when you tried PDP you discovered their faults, when you tried APC you discovered their lapses, when you try another party peradventure you try Labour you will discover this are better but to assure you they will be better.

What is your suggestion to the electorates having their own organization since you party people are not orientating them to know what they  should do, as they don't know what is what ?

It is not one responsibility, my own  responsibility  and focus is to have a platform at which I will contest and canvass for votes, it is the duty of the National Orientation Agency to orientate them, I would come to you and tell  you my party is okay, please! vote for me, I would not tell you the party at which I'm contesting is not good, don't place that responsibility on the politicians, just be concerned yourselves about the personalities and their antecedents .

The same set of people are in politics and we learnt some parties are warming up for merger what can you say to this?

It is better, it is good for democracy, this is the mathematics behind it, you will always have NO1 party which is the ruling party following by NO2 which is the opposition, invariably you have NO3 , it is not always easy for NO3 to be NO1, that is why you discover people coming together. NO3 doesn't usually come to be NO1 hence, NO2 and NO3 come together to face NO1 then they become NO1 that is democracy, that will give you a very strong opposition , look at APC; CPC, ACN, APGA party for this Okorocha AA came together , to form APC because they wanted to become NO1. And God allows that, so it is not a crime for other parties that are weak now to form NO2 so that will be able to become NO1.

Sir, on re-structuring in Nigeria, with agitation from some groups like South South's Mende, Biafra, etc, what is your take on this?

You see the idea of Federalism has to be respected , I would not want to say restructuring or whatever but the issue of Federalism, Nigeria is a Federalism, we are operating a Federating units, we have the SouthSouth, SouthWest, NorthEast, NorthWest, I want that one to be recognized that our constitution will be strictly adhere to, you see my concern is this; we have problem with our constitution and one would expect the National Assembly to face amendment of 1999 Constitution, when we were using 1979 Constitution it wasn't like this, 1979 Constitution is better than 1999 as ammended so I want the National Assembly to sit down and look at all the 'lakunas and problems we have in our constitution then they come together ; the two houses to give 'people representative constitution', not constitution that will consider our people , not an immunity of stuff of constitution, we are having now, if we can have that we will progress.

Can you assess President Muhammed Buhari on the issue of anti-corruption, what can you say so far?

President Muhammed Buhari is trying except that I want to look at it from my own perspective that the anti-corruption crusade is being selective , people tend to believe that the moment you are in ruling party, make yourself available and you dacamp to the ruling party you have immunity that nobody will try you for whatever offence or the thing you have done regards corruption, that one i don't take, he should make sure he is not selective , be you in any party, he should fight wholistic! wholistic!!. Like what OBJ said that corruption too happens in the religious establishment especially when people wanted to be elevated, those with highest offering, tithes are given priority not minding the sources of the money, by so doing they encourage corruption.

What is your score for President Muhammed Buhari government?

He has tried but until you finish a race; you don't give prizes at the beginning of a race, whether President Muhammed Buhari has tried or not let him finish the race , that is when one can say whether he has tried or not.

IDEAL FORUM FOUNDATION ADVOCATES SACRIFICE FOR HUMANITY.

On the 17th of April, 2017 Ideal Forum Foundation initiatives held her first Public Presentation and Lecture with the theme: Sacrificing for Humanity inside Felicia Hall, Jorgor Liberty Road Ibadan .
Here some widows, physically challenged set of people and the less-privileged were given some food items and financial assistance.
The visioner; Alhaja/ Mrs Aminat Adebayo Shittu in her speech stressed the reason why she thought it right to come up with such laudable idea of establishing this foundation, in order to help and extend the hands of assistance in various ways to those who are in the society but greatly needed to be helped, so as to alleviate their state of suffering.
She reiterated that her passion to help people of indigent background whose needs are many but are unable to get them because of lack of financial capability, had been bottled in her mind until she cannot withstand it hence she needed to start off as scheduled, promising that with God always being with her and ably assisting her while her husband ; the honourable Minister of Communication Barrister Bayo Shittu solidly behind her, she would not relent to keep on doing the best God had sent her to do for mankind.
A one-time Chairman of First Bank Chief/ Prince Ajibola Afonja, who was there at the occasion implored the government at the three tiers to make sure they come to the rescue of several Nigerians wallowing in poverty, who are greatly and presently suffering under the government of President Muhammed Buhari of APC.
This the Oyo Prince Ajibola Afonja further expatiated that with the present Hardship in the country many people have been beaten to the wall and thus being helpless to know what to do , to bail themselves out from the sordid experience, with many going to the extreme in abandoning families to commit suicide and also do the worst not expected of a normal and sensible person.
He affirmed the fact that Nigeria is a blessed country where nobody supposed to complain of unemployment, with the ample opportunities , resources and values from both the natural and human endowment but defended the fact that provided President Muhammed Buhari sees the opportunity to operate under an enabling environment with other public functionaries and those in the corridor of power giving him adequate cooperation he is certainly sure he would take Nigeria and the Nigerians to the promised land.
However, he corroborated his statement with giving admonition as preached from both holy books; bible and Quran that "no condition is permanent and that nobody brings anything to the world and nobody will take anything back afterwards, hence those in the corridor of power should stand up to their various responsibilities in helping the teachers, workers in the public sectors by paying their dues as at when due while they should also do something to bail the numerous Nigerians suffering from the hardship because in the last day of judgement with God evrybody will give the account of his or her stewardship on earth.
His Royal Highness Oba Jamiu Adedamola Badmus Oluasoko of Iberekodo , Ibarapa Central Local Government , Igbo Ora who was also prsent at the occasion described the present situation as what everybody is directly responsible to contribute their quota in helping to bail the country out from.
He defended the present government as been up and doing to bring solution yet wanted the people to endure , with the government and praying and hoping that this nation and citizenry arrive at her promised land.
He commended the visioner; Alhaja/ Mrs Aminat who had come up with such good initiative to helping the less-privileged, believing nobody can give a good advice like that which would be successful as the one initiated by the visioner defending that her not doing such foundation does not reduce her status as the wife of the honourable Minister for Communication.
Nonetheless he prayed that the relationship the visioner had with God to have initiated such laudable idea be not severed , for more successes and succour to come from her initiative for the benefit of humanity.

" CREDIBILITY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN POLITICS, ANTECEDENT OF WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN DOING WILL SPEAK FOR YOU " HON. AYENI TEMITAYO SUNDAY; ASPIRANT FOR THE FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVE, IBADAN NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONSTITUENCY II.

Many are on the 'fence' because of what Nigerian type of politics entails: lies, propaganda , hooliganism, thuggery, back-biting and evil-machination yet if correction, clarity and sincerity of purpose must be brought to the field of play in politics all hands must be on deck, that is, all and sundry eligible must come on board, to be involved in changing the welfare of the citizenry, position of things in all ramification, and the future of the country to a betterment, regardless of what you are doing for living as long as you are eligible, good and not of criminal record or what have you. And looking into the present state of things in Nigeria regarding the recessional and the economic hardship through it many right-thinking people and true Nigerians have realized leaving the destiny of the nation; Nigeria and their people's welfare in the hands of the selfish and inconsiderate politicians seeking for political posts and public offices is like taking their people to the slaughter-house to be killed innocently and unnecessarily for the crime they had not committed, through the lackadaisical attitude of the majority politicians who have gained access to the corridor of power arrogating and appropriating the goodness, values and wealth of our great nation into their sides and pockets only, hence majority of these good intention and right thinking people are already coming out, signifying their intention to sacrifice  their  precious time, energy, money and wherewithal to correct the lapses in the nation's politicking, so as to make sure things are brought back to normalcy and that the economy of the nation be brought back to balance, with the act of making sure the welfare and the destiny of the great nation;Nigeria is restore back to a glorious status and comfort-ability. And thus sampling opinions round to know who and who these type of the patriotic and committed Nigerians ready to serve we stumbled on the ever amiable, frank and selfless Honourable/ Engineer Temitayo Sunday Ayeni, an aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives under Accord presently for Ibadan North Local Government Constituency II who bared out his mind, on the state of things in Nigeria and chip in his own piece of advice, on what and how to handle things, in order to find the succour expected, to alleviate the suffering Nigerians are passing through presently as a result of the recessional intricacies, and here we un-winded on our interview with him as reported below

Can we meet you sir!

My names are Honourable Ayeni Temitayo Sunday

Sir, can you define politics, what is politics all about?

Politics is about people , people in Nigeria vote for people and people decide who will lead them, that is politics.

Sir, last time you were given consideration to participate, what relevance do you think 'credibility' has in choosing representatives for people through parties?

Een, 'credibility' is the most important thing in Politics because if you are not credible enough people would not vote for you, antecedent of what you have been doing will speak for you, no matter what level you may be in politics.

Why did you come into politics or what motivated you into politics?

Well, I always say it everywhere, I don't know I can become a politician because I believe politicians do tell lies and people too will say politicians lie but I don't want to tell lies but when it is time God say it is time for me to carry my people to a certain destination then I realized I have to come on board.

Looking at Nigeria geographically, what do you think is our problem with regard to nationalistic spirit that had eluded us?

People in the country Nigeria, will say the country is hard, though it is hard but there is no way you want to reach a good destination without coming through hardship, corruption has taken a lot of our wealth in this country and you see someone wants to get the prestige of the nation back; it would not be easy yet very soon things would be easy.

What is your assessment about President Muhammed Buhari?

President Buhari is trying, may God spare his life, let his condition of health improved, you know that corruption has eaten deep into the fabric of our system, now there is fear in the country, if you stole money now there is certainty you are called to answer for it and pay for it, now Buhari is trying all his best possible but we need to pray for him, to come successfully in putting the country right.

What will be your priority?

My priority belongs as God says, if God says we are still going to work together let it be but if God says otherwise let it be also.

Are you still in Accord as a party?

I'm, still in Accord Party.

With Rescue issue where many have fallen out of the party, clarify on your stand?

Nobody can say I have left Accord Party, I'm part and parcel of Accord Party, people say some people are in Rescue Team, I don't know them and I don't want to know them.

With what people are saying in opposite about Ladoja what is your take on that?

Everything is politics, Ladoja is Ladoja, people love him because of his way, at first I didn't like him but when I got close to him I had to love him, there is no way I wouldn't like Ladoja, Ladoja has a large heart for common people , in order make sure they become something good in future, I respect him.

The issue of parties merging together , do you think that can save the problem of the electorates or where do you think the electorates have gone amiss with this present hardship?

When there is pain a lot of things would come out of it but when there is no pain ; no success, so as time goes on God is going to send a messiah and who knows the messiah, nobody! but we have to start from somewhere, by so doing everybody is curbing himself, comporting himself, the self-centered people, the greedy people will realized what they are doing is bad and they have to change heart and everything would come back to normalcy.

The crusade about anti-corruption what do you have to say?

Yeah, good, perfect!

What can you say to buttress that !

Let me tell you something concerning corruption even, Buhari is not dealing with it completely but little, corruption has eaten deep into people's heart but, I know very soon by the time he comes back second term; I know things would be revisited, that crusade is very important, when he was in government in 1984 supposed he wasn't disturbed it could have become better by now, anything that will be good you have to pass through the pain so, those people that did not want to endure it there is no way they can take as alternative, who is God; God is God and God cannot change, it is government that can change but during your time do what you wanted to do well and leave the rest to God.

What is your words of advice to the citizenry?

I can only tell them that God will bring peace to Nigeria because when there is no peace a lot of things will be eluding us, two; people endurance is limited to the kind of life we are living so at the stage of endurance people should be able to endure till the time when God will say he is happy with us for restoration, you cannot endure when there is pain but very soon things would change for better.

You are in Accord Party do you want Buhari for second term,if God spare his life?

We are praying to God to spare his life because nobody wants to loose his brother, if Buhari is still coming I would like him to be back.

What is your view about restructuring, is it our problem?

It is our problem, let say the truth, we have to restructure Nigeria, they want to restructure Nigeria; are they not those people that had embezzled our money? until when we deal with a lot of things and with them in government restructuring cannot be possible.

What is your score of the National Assembly members?

They are not trying at all, you see when there's corruption people don't like truth, but it is good someone says it , see the EFCC'S Chairman Magu, see the other one, you see everybody is leveling one thing or the other against one another, it is because they have known one another very well , a lot of corrupt Senators, house of Representatives memberswhich EFCC know them very well, they know when they get to Magu, Magu will query them. And they know they will be held to somewhere and Buhari cannot impose anything because we are in democratic government, so they just have to mend the judiciary, executive and legislative.

Issue of Godfather-ism does it has any negative implication in our political arena?

Aah! don't let us deceive ourselves, if you are in politics you need to have God father, Godfather-ism has both negative and positive reaction, it depends on the kind of person you are making your God father.

What do you have to say in respect of allowing the new breeds into politics?

Yes! Let the young people come there, during the time of Awolowo, Azikiwe, they were thirty-two, thirty-three, it was Azikiwe that was forty-two. All those Governors at that time were twenties so youth can do better , so let them inject the youth and give advice to them on what to do.

With several agitation from South South's groups like MASOP, BIAFRA and others do you still believe in Nigeria?

We are one, Nigeria should be one, the agitators are trying their best to break away or separate but it cannot be possible, Ojuckwu had already said it.

Some different parties are warming up to merge and as you are preparing politically what do you have to say to that?

By God's grace and God's willing I'm aspiring but God would lead us before we get to 2019.

"LET US PLAN HOW WE ARE GOING TO IMPACT THE LIVES OF OUR PEOPLE"- HONOURABLE FATAI ADENIYI ADESINA,MEMBER,OYO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

In the thought for more facts to be unravel regarding why the politicians kept silent thus far, despite the avalanche of complaints and discouraging opinions and views from the members of the populace and citizenry on the state of the economy in Nigeria and the effect of the biting hardship, as a result of the recession, we thought it wise to sample opinions and views of the honourables both at the states' house of assembly and national, in order to justify our finding without any bias nor favouritism, since we know we are between two beautiful brides;the leadership and follower-ship.
And next on the spectrum of our adventure is the Honourable Fatai Adeniyi Adesina of the Oyo State House of Assembly who we had a chat with as unwind-ed below:

Sir, it is expected that whenever a government comes through a party into rein of governance; the parties in the opposition must be up and doing , doing what is expected of them to call the party in governance to order through  constructive criticism but presently we are not seeing that happening, has the opposition gone to sleep or there is no opposition at all?

When the party in governance is doing the thing expected of them, I think there is no reason to be criticizing unnecessarily, fighting today, shouting  tomorrow, we have been away from the politics of the past, if the party in government is doing what is expected we move with them, to impact the well-being of the people but if not; and doing something illegal you will see us standing up to talk against it and don't forget, there are better ways to do that as in 2013 there had not been the report of the account to presenting the state's account then we advised for a substantive  accountant -general, we came up to correct that there should be an appointment of substantive accountant -general since auditor-general  cannot act for more than six-months. And we have been able to correct that. Government came to appoint school- governing board, that is part of what we expected of them. You know some people don't know what is expected of them, instead of coming to the 'house' to report their interests or complaints, how do they want us to know, or maybe our rules of engagement had not been in term of what people expected, stabbing and fighting one another and don't forget; we are all learned. We have the power of legislation , investigation, oversight-functions and power to correct the governor. People like making sweeping statement, we have opposition.

I quite agreed with you that the legislators are working but in your statement you said something now that you will challenge anything done by the government that is illegal, is the delay of the local government election with the appointment of the care-takers more than three times not illegal?

Don't forget the governor had constituted 'OSIEC',some people are aggrieved on the issue of 'LCDA' and then went to court hence all activities are put in abeyance. Can one go further afterwards, no?! Local governments cannot be put in the hands of the career officers, because they have approval power only so, it warranted they put the care-takers there. Don't forget in my party; Accord Party, we have elected all our candidates to show that Accord Party is ready, Let's take issue wholistically and with totality, don't let's play partisan politics and put sentiment aside. And don't forget those who went to court don't have caretakers, you can go and verify.

Your party had been disturbed by the issue of Rescue team then, as there was no activities to educate, orientate and rub minds together with your party members, was there any reason for that?

Don't forget I had mentioned this in my previous statement . What actually happened was that since the Rescue team issue had been dragged to court then in respect of the convention they organized at Olubadan Stadium juxtapose that of the real Accord members under Chief Rasheed Ladoja there can be no activities since the case was in the court and there was court injunction. It never really affected us , we just wanted to be loyal party men and law abiding party , to the court injunction.

The idea of your party "logo extraordinaire"; Chief Rasheed Ladoja intention to go for Governorship race with some of his men in the party signifying too to run the race for Governorship, hope there wouldn't be personality- clash or conflict of opinions on that?

People believe so much in speculation and as a journalist I wouldn't advise you to do that, Ladoja has never come out to say that ,  and there are procedure even if anybody is coming out to do that he has not stopped those planning to do that. Let us wait till then "when we reach the bridge we cross it". When a case is in court it is not proper to make it a subject of media trial. You know when people see that a person had not been understood well to know his next steps; people go out to malign him. The case of the court by Rescue team was what had cautioned us from doing some certain things .

Well, what people are saying in respect of Ladoja and politics in Oyo State cum Nigeria is that ; is Ladoja still relevant, what do you have to say to this ?

Sometime when question is of question and answer I like to put it back like this that is he not relevant. If Ladoja is not relevant will Gana come all along from Abuja to convince him in joining PDP back, Atiku too invited him for meeting, Lamido couldn't have sent Kasaure to Ladoja; I was in that meeting not that I don't know what transpired. Sometime in life it is God that give a man guarantee and relevance. Compare the time of Ladoja in power here in Oyo State to this present administration ; Ladoja did well so, when you're in the government make sure you do what is right and perform well. Look at the state in respect of the payment of the workers' salaries, standard of education. Look at the educational sector in Oyo State compare with Ladoja's day; you can go and ask the civil-servants , Ladoja paid workers and pensioners as at when due. The appointment of some principal officers of the different department had been good, look at the appointment of Mrs Florence Okeniyi; the accountant-general then, is it that of the Polytechnic Rector then in person of Dr. Adetumobi you want to talk about or that of P.S.O Taiwo of the BCOS. So if we are talking about relevance Ladoja is truly relevant. Why didn't they come from Abuja to visit these so called politicians in Oyo State, it is the light-wight that are talking otherwise. We are not bothered with the media-trial or the political hullabaloo, I can remember in October 2014 Ladoja was wooed by some APC stalwarts to join the party.

It is learnt some honourable are planning to cross-carpet to other parties, are you aware?

Well, I can talk only for myself. Ladoja always say "have an address before address". Some people joined politics without having anything they are doing before. I resigned as a branch manager for a reputable bank before coming into politics. When you are leaving where you are living before have an address . Don't forget what we are discussing today is politics of issue. Why should I decamp when the APC have great internal and external problems, is it at the national or state level, what of the in-fighting among them or the economy reform that is in shamble? Once you know what you're doing you have to be steadfast . It is politics of chop make I chop that is disturbing them. Ladoja is he I so much believe in because of his ideology, making people his center of politics. During his time he was paying the workers and pensioners as at when due. When you don't have what you are doing is when you will want to hold on a tree or just anything whatsoever to survive. And with Ladoja being a grass-root politician why should I leave him for another party.

Is it true that there is going to be merger of political parties?

Politics is not that constant, the only thing constant is 'change' in life, don't forget all these parties arise from the neon-formation before. You know party or no party, one thing major that must be addressed quickly is the welfare of people, people are suffering outside there, there was a case of a woman that fell down being helped by Police P PRO handling food to her . And since 'change' is constant; let us wait at-least  APC is the amalgam of AD, AC. I pray a new party coming should be well prepared to live up to the expectation of the masses.

We learnt government is planning to introduce E-voting machine into voting in Nigeria, what do you see to that?

I welcome the E-voting because the whole world is dynamic, things are changing and developing so if E-voting is part of the development let it be, nobody should allow his future being played with.

Looking into the way politics is being played in Nigeria, one can say the politicians are feeding on lies and propaganda, while campaigning and later in government , they lie to their people and this is greatly affecting us negatively, don't you see it is not proper?

It is a Yoruba adage that says "in a conversation between two people; the one lying knows while other being lied to also know". And if one takes lies from  one another that means one too has a reason why he does that. It is because our people too expect money from 'these-politicians' that they accept their lies from them. And let me tell you not all politicians lie. In my constituency when they asked of my major plans and priority I told them they are education, sport and skills-acquisition, which I have been living up to their expectation therefore, in a situation where the electorates allowed to be lied to then, it is their fault, because they ought to have known who is lying, except they themselves have ulterior motives, to buy their lies. But one thing I'm sure of is that the electorates are more enlightened and come 2019 I don't expect them to be swayed into what they don't want to do through lies.

Well, it is to everybody's aspiration to go further in life, if one may ask you after this what are you planning to do?

It is God that knows the best , why can't we wait on God, who knows what is happening . Let us plan how we are going to impact the lives of our people.

CIVIL-EYE : CAPITALISM FOR ELITISM; THE BANE OF NIGERIANS WOES.

Nigeria is assumed to be a country of chance through corruption yet, it is not the portion of her destiny, as divinely arranged by God though, it is the creator's statement to be "merciful to whom he will be merciful"; Exodus 33:9.
But in the midst of plentiful where many supposed to be satisfied few are the ones reaping from the fertility and richness that abound within the blessed country;that is flowing with milk and honey then why?!
However, "a problem half known is half solved" and thus, here I set into diagnosing the cause of our problems and proffer solution, as in accordance to my little understanding through my value of experience so far on earth.
And without mincing my words; "Capitalism is the bane of our retrogression and backwardness" from progress, where everybody is looking for either genuine means to be rich or crooked way to amass wealth for self-aggrandizement hence impeding on the 'egalitarianism' and social justice, for even distribution of our 'national-cake' ditto widening the gap between the rich and poor.
'Capitalism' breeds corruption and the spirit of "All for none; everybody to himself" and therefore contradicting "All for one; Everybody for all".
Government is the body of people vested with the authority to direct the affairs of a state and that a state is an "organized political community having people within her then there should be responsibilities between the 'leadership' and 'follower-ship. Leaders to know their responsibilities to the citizenry and follower-ship  to know they should complement the leadership's efforts , roles and be active and truthful to their civic-duties.
In every nation it is believe that the youth are the agent of change through the continuation of good guiding principles from the elders to the youth, for development and economic buoyancy. But the myopic understanding of the few and parochial attitude of some in the corridor of power is causing much threat,to the immense contribution the youth could have made to the expected change we want to  move the nation forward but some elders (elites)don't want a change for better than to keep perpetuating their influence for self aggrandizement and enrichment either through hook or crook. Yet if this continues thus then the nation stands the risk of collapse and destruction at-least it is an adage that says thus that "A nation that restrains her youth from the understanding of her cultural value and tradition stands imminently to fall into decadence".
Check the history of all the advanced nations of the world like Japan, China, U.S.A., Germany, U.K., Sweden, Holland, and even the newly developing Malaysia to mention few; their youth are the mainframe of their economic-growth. It is true that what has the good side must have the bad-side and that without no negative there can be no positive, the youth are vibrant, belligerent,violent,pretentiously-criminal Yes! yet where there is enabling environment these vices of the youth can be re-channeled towards advantageous-productivity. And thus the several and yearly corpers from National Youth Service Corps Orientation or Training should be adapted towards self-reliance in Agricultural- growth, Technological expansion, and Economic- buoyancy and not just groom them for office-work or academic- improvisational activities during service.
Accordingly the elders should be commissioned to harness their expertise, skills, potentials e.t.c. for productivity voluntarily, with grants and government support through loans or any other types of encouragement plus enabling environment. With this approach and application ; the malaise and menace in our society would be reduced,if not totally eradicated . Let the government support the spirit of 'self-employment', allowing the general but eligible youth be accessible to banks' loans, agricultural-equipment or what-have-you as an encouragement to all the willing youth of the nation and let see the 'indolent' among them that will reject or hesitate to be helped, so that we can "remove the chaff from the seeds".
If 'Capitalism' is the 'devil' affecting the nation and her citizenry adversely then let the government send out the 'task-force' to curb and caution the excesses of the 'Capitalists',the private and public entrepreneurs, from ripping off the poor,by tricks and deceits,or what do we have the regulatory board for?.
For restructuring-if 'Federalism' is not helpful and work-able among the heterogeneous tribes of a nation like Nigeria;we better adopt 'Confederation';where each region would be left alone to manage  its resources and contribute to the 'ceremonial -central -government'.
Enough of killing the future for the nation and  wasting the talents in the youth! It is the right time we get it right and not rowdy. Enough of the poor people thronging to the houses of the few-rich in the society for their needs. Let the government make available for the people the necessary and basic needs of life like food, clothing and shelter .
Through 'Self-help', Mortgage-Bank,Educational growth and Nomadic-teaching for improvisational and practical application of different knowledge of science, arts, commercials and vocational engagement and infusion we can improve on our standard of education for in-depth planned and programmed syllabus and curriculum.
It is assumed that both the elders (elites) in Politics and Religion are lackadaisical for the essential change; then! let the government inject the new breeds into the system and governance, while the elders be on guide and guard to manage the youth aright, though whoever go aberrant must be summarily dealt with, as deterrence, then corruption and crime would be reduced if not totally eradicated.
Let the elders form a committee of elder-statesmen and women to direct the youth, for the good of the nation; as "people without the knowledge of their history are like tree without a root".
The 'elites' are building private colleges and universities.
 The 'elites' are owning oil-blocs.
The 'elites' are owning private air-crafts and jets.
 The 'elites' are building mansions.
The 'elites' are jetting out for medical check-ups overseas .
The 'elites' are enmeshed in corruption.
The ''elites' are culpable of ethnicity and the abuse of the youth.
The 'elites' are involved in nepotism, favouritism, sabotage, fraud, aiding the youth in the execution of one crime or the other; with tempting amount of money.
Then, tell me what do the poor, less-privileged, illiterates in Nigeria have to afford these aforementioned vagaries of the few rich people in our society?!
Hmm n! what a case of 'Ambassador of Poverty'; carting and stacking billions of naira-notes and currencies of different denominations stolen from the country; Nigeria in foreign -accounts prodigally and depriving their people at home of total comfort in all ramification. And then passing the batons of the riches, positions, and power to their children and wards not minding  the danger that could arise in the future by depriving the generality of both the poor and less-privileged children and wards. And forgetting the fact that a horse that enjoys where a camel suffers on a journey; serving their master, would eventually going to be the one to carry both the loads and the corpse of the camel that died, while on the journey since the 'foolish-horse' failed tohave helped the camel with the over-weight loads, that could have averted the coming down of the camel  to death.
Meanwhile, "Atare re'ni gbadie o n yo; Ogburo kii ba re'ni gbadie ni kii baa mu ju atare lo" meaning that the much opportunity and attention of the best care given to the 'bundled of alligator seed' was to it's good and peppery taste and quality, but if the same kind of the opportunity and good care is given to a lightly different but reddish fruit of a kind like alligator; it could have been better than alligator.
The solution to our problem is within and near us. Let those in the corridor of power bridge the gap between the rich and poor then we shall see the wonders that would be created.
Enough of the nasty jargon; Nigeria is ripe for development and advancement, let's stop groping in the dark,talk-less of the daylight .
Change should start from our elders, elites and leaders while we cue -in to move and manage our  country; Nigeria to her promised-land.
God bless Nigeria; our fatherland and God bless us all!
