CIVIL-EYE : CAPITALISM FOR ELITISM; THE BANE OF NIGERIANS WOES.

Nigeria is assumed to be a country of chance through corruption yet, it is not the portion of her destiny, as divinely arranged by God though, it is the creator's statement to be "merciful to whom he will be merciful"; Exodus 33:9.
But in the midst of plentiful where many supposed to be satisfied few are the ones reaping from the fertility and richness that abound within the blessed country;that is flowing with milk and honey then why?!
However, "a problem half known is half solved" and thus, here I set into diagnosing the cause of our problems and proffer solution, as in accordance to my little understanding through my value of experience so far on earth.
And without mincing my words; "Capitalism is the bane of our retrogression and backwardness" from progress, where everybody is looking for either genuine means to be rich or crooked way to amass wealth for self-aggrandizement hence impeding on the 'egalitarianism' and social justice, for even distribution of our 'national-cake' ditto widening the gap between the rich and poor.
'Capitalism' breeds corruption and the spirit of "All for none; everybody to himself" and therefore contradicting "All for one; Everybody for all".
Government is the body of people vested with the authority to direct the affairs of a state and that a state is an "organized political community having people within her then there should be responsibilities between the 'leadership' and 'follower-ship. Leaders to know their responsibilities to the citizenry and follower-ship  to know they should complement the leadership's efforts , roles and be active and truthful to their civic-duties.
In every nation it is believe that the youth are the agent of change through the continuation of good guiding principles from the elders to the youth, for development and economic buoyancy. But the myopic understanding of the few and parochial attitude of some in the corridor of power is causing much threat,to the immense contribution the youth could have made to the expected change we want to  move the nation forward but some elders (elites)don't want a change for better than to keep perpetuating their influence for self aggrandizement and enrichment either through hook or crook. Yet if this continues thus then the nation stands the risk of collapse and destruction at-least it is an adage that says thus that "A nation that restrains her youth from the understanding of her cultural value and tradition stands imminently to fall into decadence".
Check the history of all the advanced nations of the world like Japan, China, U.S.A., Germany, U.K., Sweden, Holland, and even the newly developing Malaysia to mention few; their youth are the mainframe of their economic-growth. It is true that what has the good side must have the bad-side and that without no negative there can be no positive, the youth are vibrant, belligerent,violent,pretentiously-criminal Yes! yet where there is enabling environment these vices of the youth can be re-channeled towards advantageous-productivity. And thus the several and yearly corpers from National Youth Service Corps Orientation or Training should be adapted towards self-reliance in Agricultural- growth, Technological expansion, and Economic- buoyancy and not just groom them for office-work or academic- improvisational activities during service.
Accordingly the elders should be commissioned to harness their expertise, skills, potentials e.t.c. for productivity voluntarily, with grants and government support through loans or any other types of encouragement plus enabling environment. With this approach and application ; the malaise and menace in our society would be reduced,if not totally eradicated . Let the government support the spirit of 'self-employment', allowing the general but eligible youth be accessible to banks' loans, agricultural-equipment or what-have-you as an encouragement to all the willing youth of the nation and let see the 'indolent' among them that will reject or hesitate to be helped, so that we can "remove the chaff from the seeds".
If 'Capitalism' is the 'devil' affecting the nation and her citizenry adversely then let the government send out the 'task-force' to curb and caution the excesses of the 'Capitalists',the private and public entrepreneurs, from ripping off the poor,by tricks and deceits,or what do we have the regulatory board for?.
For restructuring-if 'Federalism' is not helpful and work-able among the heterogeneous tribes of a nation like Nigeria;we better adopt 'Confederation';where each region would be left alone to manage  its resources and contribute to the 'ceremonial -central -government'.
Enough of killing the future for the nation and  wasting the talents in the youth! It is the right time we get it right and not rowdy. Enough of the poor people thronging to the houses of the few-rich in the society for their needs. Let the government make available for the people the necessary and basic needs of life like food, clothing and shelter .
Through 'Self-help', Mortgage-Bank,Educational growth and Nomadic-teaching for improvisational and practical application of different knowledge of science, arts, commercials and vocational engagement and infusion we can improve on our standard of education for in-depth planned and programmed syllabus and curriculum.
It is assumed that both the elders (elites) in Politics and Religion are lackadaisical for the essential change; then! let the government inject the new breeds into the system and governance, while the elders be on guide and guard to manage the youth aright, though whoever go aberrant must be summarily dealt with, as deterrence, then corruption and crime would be reduced if not totally eradicated.
Let the elders form a committee of elder-statesmen and women to direct the youth, for the good of the nation; as "people without the knowledge of their history are like tree without a root".
The 'elites' are building private colleges and universities.
 The 'elites' are owning oil-blocs.
The 'elites' are owning private air-crafts and jets.
 The 'elites' are building mansions.
The 'elites' are jetting out for medical check-ups overseas .
The 'elites' are enmeshed in corruption.
The ''elites' are culpable of ethnicity and the abuse of the youth.
The 'elites' are involved in nepotism, favouritism, sabotage, fraud, aiding the youth in the execution of one crime or the other; with tempting amount of money.
Then, tell me what do the poor, less-privileged, illiterates in Nigeria have to afford these aforementioned vagaries of the few rich people in our society?!
Hmm n! what a case of 'Ambassador of Poverty'; carting and stacking billions of naira-notes and currencies of different denominations stolen from the country; Nigeria in foreign -accounts prodigally and depriving their people at home of total comfort in all ramification. And then passing the batons of the riches, positions, and power to their children and wards not minding  the danger that could arise in the future by depriving the generality of both the poor and less-privileged children and wards. And forgetting the fact that a horse that enjoys where a camel suffers on a journey; serving their master, would eventually going to be the one to carry both the loads and the corpse of the camel that died, while on the journey since the 'foolish-horse' failed tohave helped the camel with the over-weight loads, that could have averted the coming down of the camel  to death.
Meanwhile, "Atare re'ni gbadie o n yo; Ogburo kii ba re'ni gbadie ni kii baa mu ju atare lo" meaning that the much opportunity and attention of the best care given to the 'bundled of alligator seed' was to it's good and peppery taste and quality, but if the same kind of the opportunity and good care is given to a lightly different but reddish fruit of a kind like alligator; it could have been better than alligator.
The solution to our problem is within and near us. Let those in the corridor of power bridge the gap between the rich and poor then we shall see the wonders that would be created.
Enough of the nasty jargon; Nigeria is ripe for development and advancement, let's stop groping in the dark,talk-less of the daylight .
Change should start from our elders, elites and leaders while we cue -in to move and manage our  country; Nigeria to her promised-land.
God bless Nigeria; our fatherland and God bless us all!
