CIVIL-EYE: MIMICKING THE MENTALITY; MARRING THE MARRIAGE.

" Do two walk together without having agreed" says a rhetoric question from holy-book( Amos 3:3 ) .
And this is my subject matter and the premise by which I'm developing my points, facts, data, information, instances and suggestions on this above-mentioned self- coined topic- sentence.
It is prevalent nowadays seeing fun fare,glamour,pageantry,ostentatious-array of affluence, drinks, foods and whatever accompanying the event or occasion of nuptial knot tying of couples, spouses and lovers at churches, mosques and registry, while parents ,friends and relations of both lovers feeling happy to see the beautiful day of the marr-i-age or wed-ing as marr-i-age could be said to be susceptible of damage so it is put in a state of holy solemnization believing  God put hand in the relationship, to see it cemented yet wed-ing is somehow something that is connotatively wedded (wedged) or put together by artificial attachment that could break away, from each other if care is not taken by the handlers of the wedded object because the joint where the attachment was made could be said to be delicate, no matter how one could believe it had been solidified therefore, care and love for the object and prayer to God constantly to see it together attached is the only sin-qua-non to make it last.
And to buttress up point on this don't forget the couple, spouses or lovers came from different families and checking on their backgrounds both have different upbringing of what life is all about and educational background.
So, taking this incipient premise into consideration marriage is sacrosanct which should be handled with utmost probity, propriety  and lovers ought to allow true-love and not pretext, as it is expected and believe to be the 'license'; starting the courtship before the real marr-i-age yet, should be circumspectly handled and sanguinely managed.
But, what are we seeing nowadays? It is the opposite of what it is expected, while one or the witnesses to the beautiful occasion believing and expecting to be hearing good news of happy-life what one hears is quarrel , instances of unhealthy rivalry between those expected  to be lovers and these could lead to separation or divorce.
Hence, I kept on wondering what could have been the cause and by my deep thought and insight from God I arrived at getting to see the causes as majorly lack of prayer constantly together, as a holy-book has enjoined us to "be watchful of the Satan,Lucifer, devil that is restlessly prowling to see whom he will devour", secondly, lack of true-love to endure and be tolerant provided both could flash back to the fact that they came from different families, ditto the denotation of the word- analyzed earlier about; the tag of the kind of life they are living (marr-i-age) or married life, as the game is said to be " for better; for worse" and the holy-book even described them"  'shameless lovers'; who were naked before each-other and were still proud of it"; ( Gen 2: 25) and thus, it was divinely arranged and call God's institution.
Then, to say the fact the rivalry that often started between both lovers often come from their parents and this I stand to be corrected by any impudent parent; that is not ready to admit the fact because each parent is surreptitiously star-gazing on whose hands is upper between the lovers and if care is not taken the mother or father of either spouse could go extra mile to be spiritual and don't forget, the reason why Eve and Adam had survived  is because they have no parent and this is a caution and advice to the parents, to be very loving for both and know they have their lives to live together, without time for retirement so, it is only prayer they can have to give to support them with and lastly the issue of 'colonial mentality';how the white do their own is another crazy idea, that could be imbibed by wife ( women-liberation) or hubby ( male- chauvinism).
On this note advise both parents and the couple to lets there be mutual respect because respect is reciprocal regardless, of what our culture says.

" UNTIL NIGERIANS SET ASIDE A DAY TO WORSHIP GOD THE ALMIGHTY, THAT IS WHEN ALL OUR PROBLEMS WOULD BE SOLVED AND SOLUTION WOULD COME AS THUNDER-LIGHT, TO FREE US ALL"- PASTOR JOSEPH AKIN AKINADE OF C.A.C. LION OFJUDAH, DIZENGOFF AREA, IBADAN.

If the problems of our nation; Nigeria must be solved and brought to an end then "all hands must be on deck" because some have eyes but they cannot see, some have ears but they cannot hear and yet some have mouth but they cannot shout out the problems they have until the problems killed them and such is the paralysis that killed some when they have ailment or disease of a kind but instead of shouting it out maybe they can find someone that has the cure to it hence we on the editorial of this News-track- Online  do not want that of ours in the search and course for the solution to our nation's problem so we went out to make sure we are "not leaving any stone un-turned ", to do our best in unraveling the riddle behind the problem of the nation; Nigeria and thus went as far as meeting a man of God, pastor of repute in person of Pastor Joseph Akin Akinade of "Lion of -Judea, Dizengoff Area, Iyana Church, Ibadan who we had an exclusive interview with as unwind-ed below:

What are the qualities you believe a man of God should possess if he want to represent God well and the mankind?

Een! firstly one of our hymnbooks says "Mo fe ki n da bii Jesu, ninu iwapele, ko seni to gboro ibinu lenu re leekan ri" the first thing you have to humble yourself , bible says " Olorun juba onirele, o n wo agberaga loke reere", It is one of those things perhaps you want to be a leader in gospel or pastor, secondly you have to know whom you are serving who is Jesus Christ; Our Lord, I don't say you can have all but must strive to be as perfect as expected.

What can you say about power of prayer?

Well! I always wonder when people say they had been on the mountain for long without having being answered, what are you doing at the mountain for almost three months, before you can pray to God , he needs something from you which is praise-worship. If you want answer to your prayer you must praise him first, if you want to receive from God you must praise him, a Yoruba adage says "Abiamo ko ni gbo ekun omo re , ko ma tati were", Nkan kan wa taa lee se fun olorun, ko to le da wa lohun, nkan naa ni orin-iyin, orin-iyin je ohun pataki ti olorun fe. Psalm 150 the last verse 6 says " Let everything that has breath praise the Lord"When you are praising God you alert him to know someone is somewhere that is mentioning his name and asking for a request and thus ask him what are really is request and what is he asking for, when you are praising that is when he knows you are alive. You have to worship him, you have to praise him that is when he will hearken to your call. Before you can ask anything from God you have to praise him. To cite an analogy " There was a praise-singer praising a rich man and after the rich man had given almost what are on him and the praise singer still continued he felt highly moved and went inside to bring gun that whether when he killed him, he will stop " all this tells you the power behind praise, if an ordinary man can be moved in such a way, how much more God that loves only praise-worship. It is  when one don't know the importance of praise in prayer one neglect praise and without it we pray amiss. When you praise God then use thirty minutes to ask for what you need  and he will manifest himself and you will see that he answers prayer.

Sir! you are the pastor for this age-long church left behind by Late Pa/ Pastor Akinade and it has been successfully managed by you, how have you been finding the shoe left behind by him?

Hun un! it is not an easy job, you know people that go to church believe in the anointing of the founder of the church, if you don't believe in the anointing of the founder you don't go to the church. The first thing before Papa died he usually do something and that was not preaching himself but gospel and being a prophet he always gives revelation. And when members of the church don't hear him give revelation and prophesy they feel dejected and may not like it but because Papa preached gospel then that is what we have been enjoying by preaching the gospel. And don't forget I'm a musician and before Papa died we have something in common when you are talking about praise I'm a musician, an instrumentalist, I play keyboard, sax, drums , I compose and arrange music, even when Papa was alive I assisted him on this so when we talk about praising God I know it and my wife knows much about praising God , to worship God, I know much about the words of God and with the radio-programme I present often people had known that I can handle  things well regarding the present position God put me as a pastor so in a nutshell I can say I started where baba left it.

Sir! what can you say about redeeming the youth back into Christendom considering many of them going into music of life and yahoo enmasse, what are you doing lately to attract them back to the Christendom?

The problem we have is that you are talking about , what about the many youth flocking into pastoral , are they really working for God ? There are three calls one, I may call you to serve God through pastoral because you are doing well in church two, you may call yourself because your work is not going well the third are those God call; these ones are divinely called, just start with God and end with him, you are talking about yahoo; but some pastors are the ones praying for them, some pastors pray for the robbers, some pastors are no more saying the truth again at church's services because they don't want to incur the wrath of these  so called money-missed roads, yahoo guys . Some pastors are already under spell of satanic influence, some pastors don't want to preach gospel again because they need money . They know when they preach and you are offended as a rich-man you will leave the church , forgetting that just like wall-clock which when the battery packed off that's the end and such is the lives of ours. And we talked about these pastors what about the parents of these yahoo-guys, a pastor is to preach for few hours but what about the parents of these yahoo boys who during their school days they have nothing from parents to foot the bill of their study or course and when they passed out or dropped out of schools they would eventually end up in yahoo so the problem lies with the parents. Now no church want to listen to poor again but the rich people; the moment some pastors realize you are not there in their  to give money they will be indifferent to your presence but what they are doing is for short time.

Is your profession or position as Pastor, go-speller, and composer with your wife too a go-speller not affecting the home?

Let me start this way before I met my wife it was gospel song I was engaged into, I have my band, some people now popular in gospel music I was the one that introduced them into it. During baba Akinade's life I was there assisting him in musical line before he was called as a full time pastor, it was music I was into before I met my wife who was talented in gospel song but there was no financial backings for her but we arrived at a conclusion not for two of us on the same line singing gospel song hence I dropped off the music line for her to continue while she will be singing and I will be composing and arrange it for her. All the children of my mother had been destined to be in the vineyard, that is, working for God. I'm the last born and had known my callings before birth as it was for Late Pastor Akinade, my sisters are in gospel line, we are children of covenant. I didn't want to do God's work before the death of my brother ; Late Pa/Pastor Akinade I had been troubled to start God's work I had been ordained since  2008 but never put on collar, then I even told them gospel-music I'm into is also God's work but our mother had explained to us all, and she had known where we are arriving at eventually. Now back to your question because I have to explain better to you what you don't know, you know I have been used to music line, my wife also is a gospel-musician, any show she goes I'm the one contracting it and anywhere she plans to go I'm the one arranging it, nobody has right to bargain with my wife on the balance of whatever outing she goes. I'm the one in charge of her several outings, I think it is the grace of God. My wife is such a humble woman, she can kneel down for a baby of yesterday , you know whatever you may be is just by the grace of God, some people have more talents than you; only the grace was not there for them. So whenever my wife and her band members go out for engagement ; I also often time have engagement but luckily we have some close-relatives that are there for us at home taking charge or guidance over our household. There is no problem , she trust me and I trust her, we don't have any marital problem , that wives of musicians often have because where you put my wife is where she will be.

Nigeria is the most religious nation of the world and with regard to the present situation economically what can we say of the importance or power of prayer?

If God had not been merciful to us it could have been worse, since 1977 was when we had wronged God because of the display of the several idols at the Festival , God don't like this and since Festac 1977 we have had our problems with God, it is prayer that had save us thus far. After God there is no other God, there is only one God, whoever is saying otherwise is lying to you. Until Nigerians set aside a day to worship God the almighty, that is when all our problems would be solved and solution to them would come like thunder-light, to free us all. Don't you know the numbers of lives being was because of some scheming for political posts and shedding blood is grievous before God and their blood is the blockade to some of our prayers from reaching God. I told somebody sometime ago and he was renouncing my stand on the greatness and glorious status of Jesus Christ, why should that be even the Muslim have their normal ways of corroborating the greatness of Muhammad in exalting his name yet some traditionalists also believe so much in their deities and idols like the Ifa people when they tried all their best to fathom the problem of somebody or a certain aspect of their puzzle and getting know it is to no avail using their method or traditional but arithmetic analysis and when they did that also to no avail and in the eventual got to an aspect called 'ela' they concluded there is no other way out for the patient. And that 'ela' is what they don't know as the 'word'; hence it is called " ela-loro", the 'word' is the salvation as Yoruba depicted it ' ela-loro". And the bible too says " from the beginning there is word and the word was with God and the word is God". So this Jesus Christ is the 'word', he's what they don't want us to know. Look at American during the swearing of 'Trump'; it was the bible they read throughout, when has the leaders of this great nation; Nigeria called the citizenry together to collectively praise God in their various denominations? I'm not preaching religion, whenever anybody is preaching I always got ruffled whenever I hear pastors inviting people on-air to their churches saying " come to our church tomorrow and receive salvation", who told them or give them assurance that they will be alive tomorrow?. If there is a church near your church go there , just don't leave Jesus Christ. The only solution we have is for the leaders to convene the citizenry of this great nation to come together a day regardless of their denominations to exalt God and praise him, it is such a way people of the old practiced with their leaders in the bible convening their people to appease and appeal to God for forgiveness. And God will hearken to their prayer and supplication for forgiveness. When has the leaders of this nation done that to praise God and ask God what we want. Some people don't want to die hence they kill other people to renew their lives, it is a lie, they are adding to their sins, sorrow and punishment from God. If we cooperate; this nation would be better but some Christians don't want to go into politics because no way you can do politics without using charms, but if the Christians are sitting 'on fence', thinking without charms no one can do politics don't you think some good ones may not be found to be in politics helping to move the nation forward? You see If I will not lie to you politics is in bible, see the issue of Jonah that was reluctant to carry errand for God and inside the ship then a lot was cast to know who is the jinx and that is politics, the way we interpret politics is different. If the Christians fail to come into into politics then that means whoever come into the rein of government we should accept. If not the much prayer we have been praying in this country; this nation could have collapsed. Look at the Niger Delta - the MASOP and Co, they are aggrieved and agitating for their freedom to secede and what they are doing has put our leaders on guard and careful , we can't be silent and expect things to change for better . People who had studied political-science should be involved in politics pragmatically and also those who are willing to come naturally into politics, they should go there to serve the people and the nation, those who are selfish are the ones burying money, what for?! These set of people lied to the citizenry before attaining the political positions but when they got there they change for worse, if the money being kept is in the bank, dollars wouldn't have appreciated more than naira. And even the bible say you the foolish , today we shall ask for your life.

" POLITICS IS A STRATEGIC MEANS BY WHICH ONE CAN MANOEUVRE ITS WAY INTO THE REIN OF GOVERNANCE YET THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON WHY EVERYBODY SHOULD NOT BE INVOLVED"- HON TAOFEEK GBOLAGADE ADEBOWALE.

Politics is life; life is politics, now that election is far reaching the year; 2019 though may look distant to come yet, some of the aspirants for different political offices in different parties being registered are warming up, in the preparation for campaign and other intricacies to lead to enlightening their supporters who are the electorates, these aspirants are getting to see the reason why it is necessary to act fast in disabusing the minds of these electorates who are already disappointed by what is happening in the country politically especially with the hardship being created by the recession, this we see to be sampling the opinions of these aspirants on what strategies to apply in making sure the electorates don't fall into the same 'mess' they find themselves hence we came across one of the aspirants under ACCORD PARTY who we had chat with as reported below.
Sir! can we know you better?

I'm honourable Taofeek Gbolagade Adebowale aka 'Eegun' Ladoja.

Which party are you?

I'm in ACCORD PARTY.

Could you define politics in its entirety?

Politics is a strategic means by which one can manouvre its way into the rein of governance yet there is no reason why everybody should not be involved.

Looking into Nigeria's politics what do you expected to be added to it and what do you think has gone amiss?

Hmmn, I'm happy that the person I'm under his tutelage is a very active person and honest person, he is Chief Rasheed Ladoja who always tutor us on upholding truth without truth Chief Rasheed Ladoja would not be involved in any issue evading truth, he is always promoting truth. And this is what eludes this present government to have been groping in the dark for way forward. I remember when he was in PDP he did not allowed dishonesty and deceit hence when he left the party the party eventually collapsed. And this is the reason why what kept him highest esteem of the commoners in the state.

Alright! we learnt you are warming up to be involved politically in representing your people......(cuts in)?

Een! infact the preparation is not just now because we supposed to have conducted the election to which I have been preparing for while our party was then fully ready to participate but our Governor Ajimobi postponed the election yet we now see to it that "a ram that receded on its step has done so tp enhance its power". This is still empowering us more to be fully prepared for any eventuality politically than before.

Which position are you aspiring for?

I'm preparing and aspiring for the post of Chairmanship at Akinyele South under ACCORD PARTY.

With you emerging successfully at the end what will be your priority to ease or alleviate your people's suffering?

By the grace of God I thank God that I have antecedent as a Councillor under Ibadan North Local Government where I did well and this has convinced me and my people to know that in the coming election  if I won I shall do more to develop and build on my record.

What is your advice to the electorates?

My advice to them is that any position someone may be he should do better, because doing well is the most important, one cannot do good to reap evil and one cannot do evil to reap goodness. One should do well whatever position he may finds himself, it is the good we have done that has made people not to forget us, that goodness Ladoja is doing is what has endeared him to the minds of his teeming supporters.

What can you say about the political future of Nigeria, what are the steps that should be taken ?

The steps to take is to go back to the issue of yesterday which delved on 'truth', it is when politics is around the corner some people start talking about EFCC to disturb Senator Rasheed Ladoja and all the time they had been troubling him what has been their fact-findings , and I remember the olden days when he was in office as Governor he never collected his salary directly but instructed them to pay his salaries into his bank account while he pledged and vowed that if any of the government money mixed with his money dubiously, the authority should seize his property. It is this truth Senator Rasheed Ladoja lives for as his philosophy of life.

'' I DON'T BELIEVE IN QUOTA, THAT IS ANOTHER WAY OF REWARDING MEDIOCRITY. I DON'T BELIEVE IN MEDIOCRITY, LET'S PUT PEOPLE IN POSITION BY MERIT, PEOPLE THAT ARE CAPABLE OF DOING IT BETTER LET THEM DO IT, WHETHER THEY ARE HAUSA, IBO, YORUBA, LET THEM PUT THOSE THAT CAN MANAGE WELL THE POSITION''-ENGR. IDOWU OLANIYAN.

Maturity is by experience though, God when HE is ready to acts by signs and wonders HE can surpass our understanding and reasoning through the knowledgeable experience shown by any man yet, what belongs to all is not to anybody but everybody hence, we adopt this to search further in sampling on many other people's opinions, to unravel the major lapses, problems or paralysis affecting the country; Nigeria from acting truly as the giant of Africa, provided it is not competent rival with the other developing nations of the world.
And referencing her slumbers, lackadaisical and benumbed effort,  in solving the myriad challenges that had been impeding on her progress, which had made her as an helpless but boastful mother unable to fend for her children so, in the course of our 'search' we came across another capable, experienced and successful Engineer Idowu Olaniyan, a business man, ACCORD party stalwart and very friendly family-man who bared out his mind on what could have been our problems and what are to be done in arresting the ugly situation for the good of the country and her citizenry.
And here we unwind-ed on our interview with him as reported below:

Sir, good morning and who are we speaking with?

Good morning, My names are Engineer Idowu Olaniyan from Akinyele Local Government, Oyo State .

We realized you're in the political terrain.....interrupted?

No doubt, Yes! I'm in the political terrain.

Sir! we like you to explain to us what politics is all about?

Politics is about serving people.

Sir! we heard from the grapevine that you are warming up for a political position, do you have any political ambition?

Yes! I do have political ambition.

Could you please expatiate on this?

Yes! I have aspiration to become senator in Oyo Central .

How far have you gone about this?

The thing is still in the pipeline because most of the political parties are realigning and our party also maybe is forming alliance with other parties very soon, so we are doing that for now.

With the disappointment the two major parties have effected on the electorates how do you want to make sure you convince your people with regards to your platform and template, that you will represent their interest?

You see, I believe people should have integrity, they would be able to see our own record , we have integrity, we are men of integrity and that is what ACCORD PARTY  stands for, if you know most of the ACCORD PARTY  candidates or aspirants, those are the people that have integrity so we are 'Omoluabis', in short word and we are ready to assist our people , to empower our people in order to make their lives bearable compare with what we are experiencing now.

Sir! what do you think of regarding giving consideration to 'credibility' in  the field of political play in Nigeria?

I believe people should look for people of integrity, that have antecedent, that is what I believe, look at their past, to know whether these people can do what we expected.

Look at the situation of things in Nigeria, politically what do you envisage about the country's future?

The future is bright, if only we do what is right, what is right is that let us follow due process in whatever we do in our lives, in our homes, in government or whatever we do, it is important that we follow due process, whatever we need to do to make Nigeria great, let us do it, let us give people equal opportunity, let us allow peace to reign, that's all.

Analytically, what could you say has gone amiss with regard to the electorates and their disposition to voting system?

No! the electorates had been disappointed because people put in the position of authority have disappointed the citizenry of this nation, that's why the electorates have not been happy about going to vote or getting their voting cards but we have been trying to enlighten them that things cannot continue this way and it is the enlightenment we are doing now.

What is your score of President Muhammed Buhari's government?

You see the present government I believe underestimated Nigeria's problems yet they are putting square peg in a round hole, those who they put in position to man offices are not capable of getting the job done.

Sharing of the national cake and the political position in Nigeria by Federal quota, what is your take on this?

I don't believe in quota, it is another way of rewarding mediocrity, I don't believe in mediocrity, let us put people in position by merit, people that are capable of doing it the right way that it should be, let them put those people in position, whether they are Hausa, Ibo or Yoruba, let them put those that can manage the position well in the position.

You're so endeared to Chief Rashidi Ladoja what has been the cord attaching your string of relationship thus far to him?

You see he is our father, egbon, a man of integrity, those who are close to him know the man has brain, intelligence, future , he can project and has vision for Oyo State even Nigeria, when he was in government you see, like when he was in government you could see how he had been able to tackled the issue of salaries for staff, most of the industries he created when he was in government throughout the whole local governments in Oyo State then, though they are moribund yet he has vision about what he intends to do, he teaches by example, he is a big farmer, he has a large farm and had invested a lot in farming, to show all of us that we have to go back to farming, let us give agriculture a priority.

What do you have to say about politics and God father-ism, are they separable?

I don't think they are separable from each other, there is no way you can separate them, people still have to have their leaders they would prefer, to have as their own Godfather, respect cannot be taken from politics.

Sir! a lot of people are on the fence; not participating in politics because of thuggery, hooliganism in politics.....interrupted?

You see in politics there is no place for thuggery in politics, we have to enlighten our people , you see politics is not thuggery ; it is service to our people, mankind, in our party we don't encourage such act or activities, some people say politics is a bitter game; politics is not dirty- game. It is some miscreants that caused problems and the machinery have to cushion and must have discipline in their manifesto so that those that are not fit for some position should be expelled.

What is your assessment of the performance of the members of the 'National House of Assembly'?

They have not performed at all, let us be sincere, they are supposed to be check and balance to the government, if they are really not stepping on the executive then that means they have not really performed their work because the executive have not been performing, this are part of the problems we are facing , the legislators are not doing their job but focusing more on how to enrich themselves.

Ladoja having relevance in Oyo State then the issue of 'Rescue Team' would it not affect his influence?

You see the issue of 'Rescue-Team' is already gone and dead, you see even in a family we have some members of different opinions , ''Tori were ti'le ni a fi n ni were tita', so in that wise the issue of 'Rescue-Team' had been dissolved, those that had gone astray they had come back to the main fold, if there is going to be a merger; Ladoja is a force to be reckon with in the politics of Nigeria talk-less of Oyo State so, we should  know that , nobody can underrate Ladoja's influence, even the presidency recognizes that he is a national politician, a lot of people have been coming to consult with him, if there is anything to be discussed about Oyo State and Nigeria politics; Ladoja is the first man to be called upon.

What will be your priority if voted in by your people eventually to the National Assembly?

You see food is the number one, Oyo Central Saki Cultural Zone, we need to make sure we are self independent, after food is other thing, to make sure roads are done, debt is taken care of, we must make sure foods are available, are on people's table, a lot of people are suffering now, they cannot afford one meal a day, it should never happen in Nigeria, we should not allow it to happen again.

What are your plans not to allow partisan politics where people steal other parties' votes?

The problem is this; we need to enlighten the populace that they need to guard their votes jealously, whoever you give your mandate to; they must make sure that person is declared winner, the problem with us in Oyo State is that we have a lot of cowards; they will just be talking but not come out to support what they believe , now also the party is doing enlightenment for our people that they need to police their votes so that what happened in 2015 will not repeat itself God's willing.

What is your advice to the electorates?

The electorates should guard their votes, vote for people with integrity because Nigeria does not belong to anybody but all of us and we have no where to run to, we must make sure Nigeria rise again.

The merging of political parties will soon be , what should the electorates look for?

That one is for party hierarchy to decide but the issue is that people of like-mind should be in the party that should emerge, people who have the same vision with us, who want to make sure poverty is eradicated in Nigeria, people of like-mind we want.

What is your philosophy of life ?

Life to me is just take everything easy, pray to God and assist whoever I can assist in life because life is for a time and one needs to live it to the fullest.
