" POLITICS IS A STRATEGIC MEANS BY WHICH ONE CAN MANOEUVRE ITS WAY INTO THE REIN OF GOVERNANCE YET THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON WHY EVERYBODY SHOULD NOT BE INVOLVED"- HON TAOFEEK GBOLAGADE ADEBOWALE.

Politics is life; life is politics, now that election is far reaching the year; 2019 though may look distant to come yet, some of the aspirants for different political offices in different parties being registered are warming up, in the preparation for campaign and other intricacies to lead to enlightening their supporters who are the electorates, these aspirants are getting to see the reason why it is necessary to act fast in disabusing the minds of these electorates who are already disappointed by what is happening in the country politically especially with the hardship being created by the recession, this we see to be sampling the opinions of these aspirants on what strategies to apply in making sure the electorates don't fall into the same 'mess' they find themselves hence we came across one of the aspirants under ACCORD PARTY who we had chat with as reported below.
Sir! can we know you better?

I'm honourable Taofeek Gbolagade Adebowale aka 'Eegun' Ladoja.

Which party are you?

I'm in ACCORD PARTY.

Could you define politics in its entirety?

Politics is a strategic means by which one can manouvre its way into the rein of governance yet there is no reason why everybody should not be involved.

Looking into Nigeria's politics what do you expected to be added to it and what do you think has gone amiss?

Hmmn, I'm happy that the person I'm under his tutelage is a very active person and honest person, he is Chief Rasheed Ladoja who always tutor us on upholding truth without truth Chief Rasheed Ladoja would not be involved in any issue evading truth, he is always promoting truth. And this is what eludes this present government to have been groping in the dark for way forward. I remember when he was in PDP he did not allowed dishonesty and deceit hence when he left the party the party eventually collapsed. And this is the reason why what kept him highest esteem of the commoners in the state.

Alright! we learnt you are warming up to be involved politically in representing your people......(cuts in)?

Een! infact the preparation is not just now because we supposed to have conducted the election to which I have been preparing for while our party was then fully ready to participate but our Governor Ajimobi postponed the election yet we now see to it that "a ram that receded on its step has done so tp enhance its power". This is still empowering us more to be fully prepared for any eventuality politically than before.

Which position are you aspiring for?

I'm preparing and aspiring for the post of Chairmanship at Akinyele South under ACCORD PARTY.

With you emerging successfully at the end what will be your priority to ease or alleviate your people's suffering?

By the grace of God I thank God that I have antecedent as a Councillor under Ibadan North Local Government where I did well and this has convinced me and my people to know that in the coming election  if I won I shall do more to develop and build on my record.

What is your advice to the electorates?

My advice to them is that any position someone may be he should do better, because doing well is the most important, one cannot do good to reap evil and one cannot do evil to reap goodness. One should do well whatever position he may finds himself, it is the good we have done that has made people not to forget us, that goodness Ladoja is doing is what has endeared him to the minds of his teeming supporters.

What can you say about the political future of Nigeria, what are the steps that should be taken ?

The steps to take is to go back to the issue of yesterday which delved on 'truth', it is when politics is around the corner some people start talking about EFCC to disturb Senator Rasheed Ladoja and all the time they had been troubling him what has been their fact-findings , and I remember the olden days when he was in office as Governor he never collected his salary directly but instructed them to pay his salaries into his bank account while he pledged and vowed that if any of the government money mixed with his money dubiously, the authority should seize his property. It is this truth Senator Rasheed Ladoja lives for as his philosophy of life.
